Set beside the pool at D’Tempat Country Club in Seremban, j’Classics (J公馆) is bringing high-level Chinese cuisine to Negeri Sembilan — all thanks to the vision of celebrated chef James Ho (何顺文). After over 30 years of honing his craft across Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and China, Chef James has returned home with a mission: to give locals a taste of fine Chinese dining, inspired by global influences.
With his return to Malaysia, j’Classics isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a heartfelt tribute to family, tradition, and innovation. The restaurant made waves with its Halal-friendly concept, allowing local Malay diners to enjoy the essence of Chinese cuisine without compromise. This unique approach blends respect for tradition with a modern twist, resulting in refined Chinese and seafood dishes, dim sum, and inventive fusion plates.


Chef James’ creativity shines with dishes like his Sushi Nasi Lemak — a playful reinvention of Malaysia’s national dish. Fragrant coconut rice rolled into bite-sized pieces, wrapped with cucumber instead of seaweed, and topped with crispy anchovies, peanuts, and sambal. It’s a brilliant marriage of local flavor and Japanese technique, and it’s turning heads wherever it’s served.
