Baby Sumo’s humble beginning started back in 2010, which later became a renowned
Japanese Cuisine Restaurant that currently has two franchises in Icon City, Bukit
Mertajam and South Bay Plaza, Penang in 2018.
Standing out from the norm, Baby Sumo whoops their menu variety to a whole new
level. With amixed Cof Japanese, Chinese, Western and Thai Cuisine, creativity is always
their key in making something exceptional and sensational. The main attribute in their
business lies in the freshness of their goods, which are preserved in a refrigerator that
stays between -45°C to -60°C and is 100% bacteria free. Of course, all these are nothing
without the effort of their chefs who take pride and passion in preparing every meal that
is ordered.

Baby Sumo was the first in Malaysia to perform a live demo of the famous Live Sashimi
Serving, Open Grill Bar as well as serving the steaming seafood platter hot from the
oven! From only a mere handful of catering jobs in the past, Baby Sumo has blossomed
over the years and is currently running more than 100 major catering events up to date.
The hard work and contributions paid off when they were awarded the Excellence
Creative Award and the IBF World Top Gourmet Award in 2017. With all the overflowing
creativity in their menu and catering service, their aim is to serve every customer a meal
that will forever being engraved in their taste buds!
