About Us
The Founder, Dato Francis Ng often came across elderly who earned a living by picking up
cardboards on the streets. Pained by what he saw, he constantly offered money to them but his
kind gestures were always rejected. Determined to help them, he came up with the idea of
opening a seafood restaurant so he could provide better job opportunities for them. It was as if
God could sense his marvelous plan, his chef buddy was also looking for a job at that time! The
breakthrough came when the restaurant served a customer their signature Black Pepper Crab.
She was so impressed by the savory flavours and freshness of the ingredients!


Little did they know she was a reporter and even featured the restaurant on Lian He Zao Bao.
That very night the restaurant was packed with customers till they had to borrow chairs
from friends next door to cope with the overwhelming number of customers.
There you have it, the humble beginning of House of Seafood as an unknown Seafood
Restaurant at Yio Chu Kang Road to a Go-To Restaurant for Seafood at Punggol.
