About Us
Named after the matriarch of the husband and wife team that shared a passion for food,
Maria’s SteakCafé was established in Greentown, Ipoh, in 1999. Maria’s SteakCafé has
been serving an extensive menu of Western food, homemade desserts, and specialty
beef steaks, and has been nominated by Time Out KL as “Best Meat” and “Best Western
Food” since then. In 2018, Maria’s SteakCafé was awarded one of the World’s Top
Gourmet Awards of the year, by World Gourmet with an endorsement by the International
Business Federation.
With specialty steaks, Maria’s SteakCafé prides itself of being the few establishments in
Malaysia that serves up quality Australian Wagyu Beef with grades 7 and 9, U.S. Prime,
and the A5 Japanese Kobe beef as the magnum opus. There is also an extensive wine
list available to complement the premium meats for an optimal dining experience.
Adding on to the list would be its very own mouth-watering homemade desserts that
constantly wow its customers, namely the Italian Tiramisu and Moist Chocolate cake.
With the extensive menu of Western fare, specialty steaks, homemade desserts,
welcoming interiors and staffs, Maria’s SteakCafé has opened 3 outlets in Klang Valley,
a total of 4 outlets in total. Serving up “Simply Good Food” in Damansara Perdana,
Bangsar, and under the leadership of their daughter Angeline Tan, opened their third and
newest outlet in Bandar Sunway. Serving up a customer base that ranges from middle
to upper class, families, working adults and students, Maria’s SteakCafé welcomes
everyone through its doors.
Maria’s SteakCafé which is an up and coming name that is becoming a household name
in Klang Valley for “Simply Good Food” does not slouch in its Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR). They are collaborating with the Dignity for Children Foundation by
supporting the under privileged students with monthly donations and industry training
to help them achieve a better future.
