About Us
Ming Chu Seafood Restaurant (Sri Petaling) is founded by Malaysia’s talented chef John
Ng and his like-minded friends, Dennis Lim and Calvin Fong. Inspired by his passion in
food and influence since young, John started his first restaurant at the age of 19.
To-date, he has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the food and
beverage industry. He enjoys listening to customers’ feedback, from there, he creates
variety of scrumptious food (one after another) to satisfy the customers’ taste buds.

In recent years, food and beverage has been a flourishing industry in Malaysia. This
brings about a “cari-cari makan” culture among the foodies, both local diners and
tourists from abroad. Ming Chu Seafood Restaurant is created with the mission to
provide food lovers with biggest surprise and enjoyment through the creativity and
professional skills of its chefs. Every meal is meticulously prepared with love and care
so diners enjoy the ultimate level of dining satisfaction. Ming Chu has 6 VIP rooms and
a banquet hall that fits 25 tables. Be it business functions, birthday parties, family and
