SAMY & MIN BAK KUT TEH was founded in 1989. The business was built on blood, sweat and tears. After more than 25 years of hard work, it is now one of the Top 10 most popular Bak Kut Teh restaurants in Malaysia. The business is now operated by the 2nd generation (since 2014). By using the inherited recipe, a new Bak Kut Teh specialty store was opened in BOTANIC, Klang; creating a popular taste caters to general public. The improved recipe received favourable response among the patrons, earning them a prominent reputation in Klang. SAMY & MIN BAK KUT TEH (BOTANIC) rose to fame within a short period of time, it has attracted many artistes and celebrities from local and abroad.
SAMY & MIN BAK KUT TEH is always packed with patrons – a totally different scene from the traditional Bak Kut Teh stores in the morning market. The BOTANIC branch insists on selling 700 – 800 bowls of Bak Kut Teh on a daily basis. In order to preserve the freshness of the ingredients, unused soup base is discarded every day; in that way, the customers would enjoy the freshest and most delicious bowl of Bak Kut Teh.
Although SAMY & MIN BAK KUT TEH (BOTANIC) was incepted in 2014, yet the founders have more than 16 years of experience in the Bak Kut Teh business. By holding on to the principle of “customers come first”, they pour their hearts into the business and successfully positioned SAMY & MIN BAK KUT TEH (BOTANIC) as a popular household brand in Klang. Even with such fame, they never grow complacent but continue to gather feedback from the patrons; constantly improvise on the taste with the goal to serve the best Bak Kut Teh to their customers.
